Starbucks Multi-grain Bagel and Cream Cheese 1

During my childhood Pandesal always completed my breakfast. I always made sure to have it toasted, “tostado”, then I dip it in a cup of Kapeng Barako. Rarely do I see bakeshops in urban places like Makati, so I thank Starbucks, which is all over the metropolis, in fact I think Starbucks Coffee shops outnumbered 711.. at least in Makati.

Since Starbucks is the only coffee shop near my office, It’s always my first stop before going to work. I don’t know when Starbucks started selling Bagels but this is where I was introduced to it. I used to love their Corned Beef Pandesal but that was forgotte when I had my first taste of their Multigrain bagel. Don’t you just love bagels with cream cheese? I do! The only time I go for other breakfast meals are when Bagels are out of stock. I love the multi-grain bagel when its hot, crispy and toasted. Read the rest of this entry →

Breakfast is the most important meal and definitely my favorite meal of the day. Whenever I dont have anything to cook, you can find me each morning in Starbucks:)

Aside from Sausage Roll and my favorite Toffee Nut Latte, Hungarian Sausage, Egg & Cheese on Ciabatta Bread (Php 90) is my new favorite. This breakfast sandwiche has thin slices of Hungarian Sausage, cheese, scrambled egg on hot and crispy Ciabatta Bread.

Starbucks has been part of my daily routine since I started working near the Pacific Star Building here in Makati. Apart from the Starbucks Planner craze, there’s another one reason why I keep on spending each morning in Starbucks… It’s the Sausage Roll.

Delicious Halo Halo with a twist @ Read Bean Halowich Boracay 7

It’s my second day in Boracay and as you know, I’m not here to party nor to sunbathe but to embarque on a gastronomic adventure in this island paradise. I felt bloated after a huge continental breakfast in Gasthof, it was sunny and since i need to increase my intake of fibrous food, I headed to Halowich for a fruit dessert overload. Halowich opened only last December of 2007 in Boracay’s D’Mall and I first saw this Halo Halo Bar last January 2008 but never made the time to check it out that’s why I made sure to include it in my food tour itinerary this time around.

What makes this Halo Halo Snack Bar interesting? It’s Yuletide Season again and aside from the Starbucks planner craze, Its the time of the year where my favorite Starbucks holiday drinks are back. Guess What it is? It’s Toffee Nut Latte! The Toffee Nut Latte makes my daily visit to Starbucks much much more enjoyable, I dunno but I really like the combination of Latte and Toffee Nut Syrup.

Experience Wine and Raclette Buffet at Astralis in PowerPlant Mall Rockwell 5

I was invited a couple of days ago to try out one of Manila’s newest place for Wine and Cheese lovers. The restaurant was just newly opened that’s why they invited few food bloggers for wine tasting and to try out their Raclette Buffet.

The restaurant’s décor was simple and the different sets of chairs is somehow surprising; the waiters were all friendly and attentive not to mention the Chef who prepared the Raclette for us.
