For busy, globe-trotting sophisticates, everyday meals may be limited to anything that can be ordered to-go. But every once in a while, they crave for exquisitely prepared and presented food, elegant surroundings, attentive service and a glass of fine wine.

Modern Caesar Salad - Astralis offers a diverse mix of continental fare starting with its wide array of salads from the Traditional Caesar Salad to a sophisticated Seared Norwegian Salmon Salad can delight the most discriminating weight-watchers.
To break the monotony in the everyday dining experience of urbanites is the inspiration behind Astralis – a new epicurean landmark in the posh landscape of Rockwell. Sangria (Spanish: sangría; Portuguese: sangria) is a wine punch typical of Spain and Portugal (the word means “bloody” in both languages).

Classic Spanish Sangria
Sangria is a popular drink among tourists at bars, pubs and restaurants in Southern Spain. In this setting, sangria is often served in 1-litre pitchers or other containers large enough to hold a bottle of wine plus the added ingredients. This is the quintessential recipe: tried and true, and therefore delicious.

Last week, I atteded the Press launch of San Miguel Oktoberfest 2008 which was held in San Miguel Building in Ortigas Center. This years Oktoberfest will be big and will definitely break world records. Aside from San Miguel semi-sponsored concert of Third Eye Blind in Manila, 2008 Oktoberfest aims to break two Guiness World Record: the most number of people toasting and the worlds longest bar.

San Miguel will also release in the market the limited edition of San Miguel Oktoberfest Beer. I have tasted the beer and it really taste good. OktoberFest Beer is a pale lager with malty notes, balanced with floral and citrussy hops. The beer is made of One hundred percent malt, full flavored yet lite bodied and with a sweety taste.
This once-in-a-lifetime brew will make its debut at the grand kick-off of San Miguel Oktoberfest on September 5, at a special venue at the Coyuito parking lot, along San Miguel Avenue in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City, in front of the San Miguel head office complex, Gate 1.
