Oh My Gulay – More than just a Vegetarian Restaurant!

Let me point this out first. I’m not a vegetarian coz Its hard to pretend to be one. However, that doesn’t mean that I don’t love vegetarian food. In fact, I often find that vegetarian food is more delicious than anything that has meat in it.

I think it’s because vegetarian chefs are much more careful and conscious of the flavors they use in their recipes. It’s just a theory, but it would explain why vegetarian foods are so damn good. (more…)

Say “Thank You” to Your Epic Friend, Everyday with Toblerone

When was the last time that you showed your best friend how thankful you are for being there for you, every step of the way? If you haven’t, maybe it’s about time that you did.

Gift for your Best Friend

Our friends turn our tears into laughter, they tell us the truth even if it hurts and we know that they’d take a leave from work just to help us through tough times or go with us through life’s many adventures. They are bonded to us, not by blood or by virtue of work, but by common interests, goals, passions and simply by unconditional love. (more…)

Davao’s Famous Lachi’s Sans Rival Atbp.

My visits to Davao are not complete without a meal at the famous Lachi’s and as always, I always enjoy a slice of their famous Sans Rival. Two months ago in Davao, We got the chance to visit the restaurant during the DFAT 2010 event with fellow bloggers.

During that night, they prepared a dessert bar showcasing all the desserts that they have in the store. Aside from Sans rival, they also serve cheesecakes in different varieties like Cherry and Blueberry New York Style Cheesecake and Choco vanilla and sour cream but the Durian Cheesecake is definitely my favorite. If the scent of the actual Durian fruit is unpleasant for you then you have to try it in the cheesecake form. You will definitely love it!!! (more…)

Sharing and bonding with ShareOREO.com

Life is filled with simple pleasures and one of my favorite is pulling the two halves of an OREO cookie apart, eating the creamy inside, and then munching on the two chocolate cookies.

OREOs have always been a part of my life. That’s a funny thing to say but it’s true. As a kid they were the cookies I loved the best and while I’ve found some great cookies since then, OREOs always bring back those memories of spending time with my parents and cousins and figuring out the many different ways to eat our OREO cookies together.

I was pleasantly surprise recently when I found out that I could get free OREO cookies. What could make OREOs even better to share, eat, and enjoy than making them free. At www.ShareOREO.com you can not only get free cookies but you can play fun games with an OREO twist. Just go to the site and register and delicious fun will follow.

Here are just a few of the treats that come on the site:

1) Three free packs of OREOs from your local 7-11 store. When you register you’ll get emailed a coupon good for free cookies.

2) You can send family and friends the coupons too, so then you can all get together and have an OREO cookie festival. With three packages each, that’s a lot of cookies. You can also share on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks.

3) Finally there are games and competitions on the site. You can compete for the chance to become a human OREO where you will wear an OREO cookie suit, lick a cookie, and then stick yourself to a giant velcro wall. It sounds like fun to me, but you can also win delicious cookies and prizes in other contests and events too.

OREOs are a great way to share and bond with those you love. Just twist, lick, and dunk and all the magic will start to become a part of who you are.

Tuna Pesto @ Espressamente NAIA Terminal 3

I’m off to Puerto Princesa in Palawan along with other travel bloggers sponsored by Microtel Pilipinas. I’m done checking in my baggage and yet I’m still two hours ahead (if there will be no further delay).

Anyway, Im here in Espressamente – a coffee shop here in the departure area of NAIA Terminal 3. I love their coffee and their super fast WIFI connection:)

So hows the Pasta? Its pretty good, not too sweet and not too salty but I think they need to put more pesto on it. If you will be dining near the coffee shop and you want to access their WIFI, 12345678 is their password.

I appreciate the barista informing me that they are charging 5% service charge if the food was consumed in their not too small four cornered kiosk.
