Together with fellow local food bloggers, we were invited by Jollibee in the recent launch of their new Jollibee Chicken Barbecue. Continuing the tradition of offering innovative food products and amazingly delicious meals – Jollibee proved once again that they are the brand to beat when it comes to Pinoy comfort food.

New Jollibee Chicken Barbecue

The launch was held in Astoria Plaza and was attended by a lot of Print, TV and New Media personalities. Everyone in the function room knows what Jollibee will be launching that day but the curiosity is still there and of course most of us are all excited to taste their newest offering.

The Launch

After a not so short presentation, Jollibee (the mascot) finally entered the function room and the brand manager finally announced the newest product of Jollibee. They started serving their new Jollibee Chicken Barbeque and while we are waiting, The Company – one of the countries best vocal group started to serenade us with their lovely set of songs.

Ang Huling El Bimbo

I love “The Company’s” version of “Huling El Bimbo”, too bad I lost my iPhone I should have recorded that song.

In less than a minute, our table was full of Chicken Barbecue and literally don’t know which to grab:) I am a huge fan of Jollibee Chicken Joy but after tasting their Chicken Barbecue I am now a convert. Imagine a freshly grilled Chicken Barbecue that is so tender and juicy with a special barbecue dip and a hot java rice on the side. You should really try it!!

Everyone’s favorite Mascot

Is it affordable? A one piece value meal will only cost you P89 while the 2 piece barbecue chicken value meal is available for only P139.

My Favorite

After tasting it in the recent launch, Ive been having a 2 piece Chicken Barbecue value meal almost thrice a week and that’s how I’m addicted to it:) The Jollibee Chicken Barbeque is currently available in Metro Manila stores only.
