I was lucky to be invited in an exclusive food bloggers dinner buffet last week hosted by Paul Calvin’s Deli. I arrived too early at The Fort so I decided to have some coffee first in UCC which is located few blocks away from the resto.

Upon arrival, I saw Poyt, Aileen and Jaydj in the restaurants ground floor.  If in case you don’t know, the restaurant is located in Rizal Drive – a developing area with few good service oriented establishments located within the strip.

Fresh Green Salad

When I first got the invite, I really thought that the restaurant was foreign owned and they serve expensive delicacies but contrary to my first impression, Paul Calvin’s Deli is 100% Filipino owned company. They offer uber affordable Lunch and Diner Buffet, breakfast, Snacks, Pastries, other Baked Goodies and Catering services for Corporate functions and other special events.

After being introduced to the owners ( Chef Paul and Jay Em ), we started our dinner buffet. Since there’s too much food to sample, I started with the Pasta which was personally cooked by Chef Paul – the restaurants resident Chef who got his degree from a New York based Culinary School.

I also tried their grilled pork, its a little bit sweet – I guess its the Filipino way of cooking it and I like it:)

Sweet Canapes

For the Sweets, I enjoyed their Betamax Brulee and their delightful mix of fresh fruits. I like their mixed tarts, It has different combinations of toppings like fresh fruits and nuts.

One interesting product of Paul Calvin’s Deli is their Malunggay Loaf. Yes! Everyone is getting into the habit of healthy living and it always starts with healthy food choices.

You can enjoy their Lunch Buffet for just P275 per head while their buffet dinner is for only P375.

Malunggay Loaf

One interesting product of the resto is their Malunggay Bread. One loaf costs P180.00 – a little bit pricey but its good for health conscious people since its a good source of beta-carotene and best of all the ingredients are all organic.
