Earlier, I went to Makati to meet Nina and Eric for our travel planning session. It was rainy but the road is surprisingly clear contrary to my expectation that’s why I left early from my place in Manila.
We originally planned to have our meeting in the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf but since CBTL is too crowded (as always) we decided to have our meeting in Flapjacks.
Nina ordered Flapjacks Slammer – a hefty platter of imported sausage, shueblig or Hungarian, corned beef, and crispy bacon strips served with two eggs any style and toasts… while Eric and I both ordered All-American Slammer which has two medium sized fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with whipped butter and served with sausages, crisp bacon strips, hash browns, and two eggs any style.
I first tried their food in Flapjacks Greenhills and their original buttermilk pancakes never failed to impress me, Its really fluffy and the sweetness is just right. Their servings is really worth the price (at least for the one we ordered) .. I just can feel the guilt after the having the meal since Ive been promising myself not to eat too much… but what can I do? I cant help it:)
