The way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach so to celebrate the joy of eating, Nokia teamed up with premiere society magazine Philippine Tatler and launched the Best Restaurants Guide 2009, a compilation of reviews of the top dining destinations in Manila.

At the event, guests feasted on the lovely spread of beef, lamb, chicken, and seafood skewers, an assortment of refreshing salads, and an intoxicating array of luscious desserts.

These included Lusso’s Demi-Pound Burger, Pepato’s Pan Seared Goose Liver Mango Duetto, Inagiku’s Sashimi Moriawase, Sala’s salad of blue swimmer crab, mustard and cucumber jelly with salmon caviar, and People’s Palace’s Crispy catfish with green mango salad.

Desserts

Seen at the gastronomic shindig were the Nokia team led by General Manager William Hamilton-Whyte, Marketing Manager Mitch So, Corporate Communications Manager Nikka Abes, Product Manager Mike Smith and Channel Development Manager for Distribution Jerry Manus.

Thai Food

The Philippine Tatler team was also in full force led by Irene Martel Francisco and Editor in Chief Anton San Diego.

Other guests included US Ambassador Kristie Kenney, American Express’ Ian Fish, Taguig Mayor Fred Tinga with wife Kaye, Rick and Juana Yupangco, Tats Manahan, Rosanna Ocampo, Jay and Malou Gamboa, Shangrila’s Joy Wassmer, Nini Licaros, Karen Santos, Princess Disini.
