A Pinoy Photo Food Blog
Food Blogging is the main reason why I’m gaining weight.. Since I don’t regularly exercise, Calories are converted to Fat easily thus I’m tranforming to slightly obese (I’m still on a denial stage haha) from a chubby guy.
While walking around Camp John Hay braving the cold and windy morning, I saw a few open restaurants, one of them is Mile Hi Original Diner. I’m not sure if they have a branch in Tagaytay but I recall seeing one before.
Looking from afar, the restaurant looked like a traditional American restaurant in the 50′s that serves burgers and potato wedges. I don’t usually eat Burger for breakfast but despite this, I still decided to checkout the restaurant hoping to find an interesting breakfast dish.
After browsing Mile Hi Diner’s menu, I was happy to found out that they don’t only serve American food, they also have Filipino breakfast favorites such as Tocino, Daing na Bangus and Longanisa.
I ordered Longanisa Breakfast and Daing na Bangus set meal but I was not able to finish the fried rice. If you order their Filipino Breakfast, you can avail of their Free Coffee refill until 11am.

yeah, generally americans dont eat burgers for breakfast either. odd though, that you would go to an american-style diner and order the filipino breakfast. maybe i will have to go to a filipino restaurant and order the pancakes and bacon. lol
