I first tried HalfMoon’s Bibingcrepe a couple of years back when I still work out at Fitness First ABS-CBN. The restaurant used to be a simple alfresco snack bar that only offer Bibingcrepe and refreshments. It was recently rebranded and they now offer Asian food favorites like Chinese dumplings, Singaporean laksa and other Asian specialty dishes.
I ordered my favorite Choco Cheese flavored Bibingcrepe and to try their new offerings, I ordered their Pork Siomai which is everyone’s favorite.
Bibingcrepe is much like the traditional pinoy golden colored rice cake also popularly known as Bibingka but it is being served loaded with different types of sweet fillings much like our favorite crepe. Truly a Pinoy fusion snack with a perfect twist!!
Among their Bibingcrepe flavors, the Choco Cheese flavor is definitely my favorite, Imagine a sticky cake with a crunchy bite combined with a chocolate and cheese filling that literally melts in your mouth.. Truly Mouthwatering and its amazingly good too!!!
If the salty and sweet combination of cheese and chocolate doesn’t work for your palate then you can choose other choice or combination of fillings which include chocolate, cheese, peanut butter, banana and corn.
The restaurant is located just in front of Hotel Rembrandt along Tomas Morato. I spotted a HalfMoon Hotel and Restaurant near the Mines View in Baguio City, I’m just not sure if its owned and manage by the same people.
