Krispy Kreme recently invited bloggers, media and friends for the grand launch of their newest chocolate-y donut – an addition to Krispy Kreme’s wide range of melt-in-your-mouth menu of doughnut. I was lucky to have arrived early at Krispy Kreme Bonifacio High Street coz we never expected the event to be really crowded. Seafood Omurice @ UCC Cafe Terrace in Trinoma

After visiting MV Doulos in Port area Manila, Nina and I headed to Trinoma to have lunch. We chose between Toast Box or UCC but I guess we love UCC more than the other lol. Nina recommended the Omurice since it’s one of her favorite dish in UCC menu. I finally ordered Seafood Omurice while Nina ordered her favorite Chicken Omurice.

A bowl of rice with vegetable, meat or fish combined with pickles and soup is a typical Japanese set meal. I just discovered a new way of enjoying rice meals after tasting UCC’s Omurice. Omurice means “omelet and rice” in Japanese language, It is a popular dish in Japan which is made from fried rice wrapped by omelet. (more…)

After exploring Gardens of Malasag, Nina and I dropped by the Cagayan de Oro City public market to buy DVDs for our evening DVD marathon. Since SLERS Ham & Cafe was near the hotel, we decided to checkout the famous deli shop for some pasalubong shopping.

We were still full since we just had a huge lunch at Bigbys but out of curiosity, we ended up ordering their special ham sandwiches. Since we were the only customer that time, everything was prepared and served in less than 5 minutes. (more…)
