Rum Balls @ Lemoni Cafe

After heavy lunch in Gasthof, the rest of my travel buddies went back to the hotel while I decided to walk around D’Mall area to look for a Barber Shop. I found my self sitting not in a barber’s chair but inside Lemoni Cafe waiting for my order. I’m wasn’t really hungry, I wanted to treat my sweet tooth so I ordered five Rum Balls (P25 each).

Holiday Rum Balls

Rum Balls are made of compressed chocolate, sponge cake coated with chocolate ganage, and sprinkled with streusel. Chocolate ganage is made of whipped cream and chocolate syrup and are commonly used as toppings for cakes and pastries. It can be whipped as filling, icing, or just poured over any cake you have.

These smooth confections are perfect adult indulgence and are commonly prepared for the holidays. I ordered 5 pieces since I knew it will no longer be available on my next Boracay visit.

Happy New Year Everyone!
