A Pinoy Photo Food Blog
During my childhood, I was always reminded to eat breakfast and to eat like a king since it’s the most important meal of the day ya·da ya-da.
Now that I’m always busy, pausing for even the simplest breakfast is next to impossible specially when I have to catch the late morning commute from my house in Sampaloc to work at Makati. What would you do if you missed breakfast? Do what I do, have brunch and discover different restaurants that offers all day breakfast meals.
Last Friday, I decided to visit GreenHills after my bank transactions at Acropolis. It’s been a while since the last time I visited this area and to my surprise, I found a new FlapJacks branch in the Greenhills theater mall.
I could not resist. The colors of the facade are so inviting and the yummy desserts were displayed right in front of the restaurant. The colors in the interior were so vibrant, It makes you crave for your comfort food. They have a huge flat screen TV inside the restaurant for sports enthusiasts. Unfortunately, all the seats inside were taken but I realized that the tables outside are better since it’s well lit and it’s a spot conducive for smoking dragon like me.
I liked the restaurant’s ambiance, it’s casual yet exclusive but most importantly not expensive. Flapjacks signature recipe is it’s fluffy pancakes which I haven’t gotten around to trying.. definitely next time. Whether it be a light healthy breakfast or an early lunch or something in between, they have wide array of food choices for you to indulge in.
If you love the richness of fine robusta coffee’s taste and aroma, you should try their signature Endless Coffee in a Pot. Available all day for only P85.00, you can enjoy endless conversation with your friends while having a coffee overload. After browsing their menu, I learned that they actually serve not only breakfast but also lunch and dinner all day long. I ordered Crispy Corned Beef Benedict (P220.00), It has mashed potato and Corned Beef Patty on Toast, topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce.

Crispy Corned Beef! Crispy Corned Beef!
For dessert, I ordered Blueberry Cheeze Cake (P135.00) – I love the chewy blueberry on top, its probably the best blueberry cheesecake I’ve ever tasted.
If you want to try their famous breakfasts, super lunches, and great dinners, Flapjacks restaurant branches are located in Greenbelt 2, Robinsons Place Malate, Greenhills Theater Mall and in Ayala Technohub in Diliman!
