It was almost 12 noon when I left Station 168 Internet cafe to look for an interesting place to eat near Boat Station 3. While walking towards Station 3, I saw Cafe Cristina – a fine dining restaurant that offers a delectable menu of Italian and Filipino cuisine. I ordered Beef Lasagna with Pesto Sauce (Php265.00) – It’s an Oven-baked lasagna covered with bechamel sauce topped with fresh mozzarella, Parmesan and lots of cheese. Cafe Cristina also offers a huge selection of wine and drinks but since its too early to drink I just ordered a refreshing frozen Calamansi (acid orange) (Php80.00).
In any Major City, Fine Dining restaurants often require a dress code such as collared polo shirts for men and stylish apparel for women but in the island of Boracay you can enjoy eating in any upscale restaurants without following any strict dress codes and no reservations required.
The location of Boracay Regency Beach Resort is close to Boat Station 2, near the center of all island activities.
