After the successful 2008 Wordcamp Philippines event which was held in CSB a couple of days ago, I found myself seating in a bamboo inspired chair in Abe Restaurant Serendra with Gail, Nina, Marc and Eric.

Abe Restaurant Spicy Sisig Pampanga

Abe Restaurant was a tasteful tribute by Mr. Larry Cruz to his dad Emilio Aguilar Cruz who is popularly known as ABE. This fusion restaurant is Offering a wide variety of pinoy dishes featuring some elegant and traditional Kapampangan food. Kapampangan foods are known for its intricate, exotic and palatable delights that is truly pinoy’s best. Pampanga is recognized as the origin and home of popular pinoy dishes. Unlike the simple cuisine of Southern Tagalog, Kapampagan food is more colorful and attractively appetizing.

After almost 15 minutes of waiting, our food was served together with their famous Tanglad Iced Tea. Here are some of the kapampangan specialties that we have tried.
